The story behind Friend Lore

About Friend Lore

Every friend group has a quote nobody can explain, a trip nobody remembers quite the same way, and a story that resurfaces at every birthday. Friend Lore turns that shared history into Inside Joke: a personalized party card game starring your people.

Your stories are the starting point

Through a questionnaire, you share first names, funny stories, memorable quotes, and harmless habits. We turn that material into a professionally designed deck for birthdays, bachelor parties, reunions, and Christmas gifts.

Laugh with them, not at them

The aim is a game everyone at the table can enjoy. Choose playful memories and harmless quirks, and leave private or sensitive stories out. A great inside joke makes people feel included.

A gift that becomes the evening

Finish the quote. Vote on who would do it. Retell the camping story—and let the group challenge the missing details. Your friends aren’t just receiving the gift. They’re the entertainment.
